Photography

Photography was introduced to me at a very young age through my family, setting the stage for a lifelong interest in this art form. I found my passion for photography growing stronger in the early 2010s, prompting me to further explore the discipline and refine my photographic approach.

An interplay between nature and human-made structures

My style has evolved over the years into a focused exploration of black and white imagery. I choose to work in black and white to highlight the stark contrasts and intricate details within my subjects, which primarily include a mix of wild and urban landscapes. These settings interest me due to their dynamic interplay between nature and human-made structures, allowing me to explore themes of interaction and coexistence between humans and their environments.

As I continue to develop my skills and approach, I strive to capture scenes that reflect both the harmony and tension present in these interactions. My aim is to encourage viewers to reflect on the complexities of our contemporary landscapes through the lens of my camera. Each photograph is an opportunity to pause and consider the delicate balance of life in the varied spaces we occupy and alter.

“My photography tends to explore how human presence shapes and is shaped by the landscapes we inhabit.”
